A few of our favorite spots in the Bay Area.
The Ferry Building
The Ferry Building Marketplace has a range of different shops and restaurants, include Blue Bottle, il Cane Rosso and Boulette's Larder.Nearby: The Exploratorium, Coit Tower (North Beach)
Tank Hill, Twin Peaks and Sutro Open Space Preserve
Up the hill from our neighborhood, Cole Valley, these spots offer hiking trails and great views of the city.
Nearby: Lots of restaurants in Cole Valley, including Padrecito, Inovino and Zazie.
Alamo Square / Divisadero
Alamo Square Park is one of the most visited in the city, and nearby Divisadero has a great collection of shops and restaurants, including The Mill (coffee and toast), 4505 (bbq), Ragazza (pizza) and Nopa (everything).
Hayes Valley
Hayes is a great neighborhood located very centrally in the city, with lots of shops, cafes and restaurants. Some of our favorites include Suppenkuche, the original Blue Bottle, Zuni, and Proxy, a collection of stores in shipping containers with a great outdoor biergarten.
The Presidio, Crissy Field and Fort Point
Beautiful hiking trails with views of the Bay, a golf course, beach, the Palace of Fine Arts and restaurants including The Commissary and Arguello.
Golden Gate Park, Ocean Beach and Lands End
Rent a bike at the Haight Street entrance and make your way out to Ocean Beach, with stops at the De Young Museum, California Academy of Sciences, Hellman Hollow, and the Conservatory of Flowers along the way. Restaurants nearby include Nopalito (Inner Sunset), Marla Bakery (Outer Richmond), Outerlands and Trouble Coffee (Outer Sunset).
